Lyon County’s Lilly Perry and Brenna Breitrick will be returning to next month’s All A Classic State Golf Tournament.
The pair secured top-five finishes on Thursday at the Second Region All A Classic Tournament at Drake Creek Golf Club in Ledbetter.
Playing in the lead group, Perry shot an 83 to finish second to University Heights Academy’s Conlee Lindsey, who shot a 74.
Perry shot a 40 on the front nine and came in with an 83.
Breitrick carded a 97 to finish in fifth place, qualifying for the state tourney by one shot.
The two lowest scores of players not on the championship team (University Heights Academy), qualify for state.
Jenna Coursey finished in eighth place with a score of 114.
The All A Classic Girls’ State Tournament will be played on September 8 at Gibson Bay Golf Course in Richmond.
