After having their season delayed just a few days, the Heritage Christian Academy Warriors got things up and running on the pitch Friday. HCA was at Whitefield Academy in Louisville for the beginning of the KCAC state soccer tournament.

The Warriors were matched up against the hosts in the opening round of play.

Despite a big effort from Kallan Davis, the Warriors fell to Whitefield Academy by the score of 7-2.

Kallan Davis had both scores for the Warriors in the match. Lucas Boswell assisted on one of the scores.

The loss drops Heritage Christian into the consolation bracket, where the Warriors will take on the loser of Somerset Christian and Frankfort Christian Saturday morning at 11:30.
