Lady Storm ‘Thunder’ Past Christian County (w/PHOTOS)

After a tough season-opening loss to Henderson County, the Hopkins County Central Lady Storm have now won back-to-back matches using a high-powered offensive performance. The Lady Storm scored 8 times in the first half Monday evening as they cruised to an 8-0 win over the Christian County Lady Colonels.

The match ended at the half due to the 8-goal rule.

Lilly Armour had a big night for Hopkins County Central, finding the net three times. The goals give her five scores for the season.

Emma Vandiver, Mary Grace Starks, Elissa Adams, Jaci Childress, and Saylor Larkins added one goal each.

Hopkins County Central was in a very sharing mood in the match. Five different players had assists. Those players were Emma Vandiver, Elissa Adams, Ashdyn Dugger, Elizabeth Phaup, and Gracie Patterson.

The Lady Storm improve to 2-1 with the win. They are set to get back to action Friday at Macon County, Tennessee.

Christian County drops to 0-4 on the year. The Lady Colonels will host Fort Campbell Wednesday evening at the Stadium of Champions.
