Just when you think there cannot be something else new to catch your fancy in the Pigeon Forge area, here comes another unique attraction.
WildSide now has a mega zipline dubbed the Longest Zipline in America that will open in the spring of 2025 along the stunning backdrop of the Smoky Mountains.
The Mega Zip at WildSide will be atop the gorgeous mountain ridges overlooking Pigeon Forge. I’ve been to the area and the views are fascinating and should be even more spectacular on the biplane.
“This exhilarating new ride promises to deliver an unparalleled experience for thrill-seekers and adventure enthusiasts alike,” the WildSide promotion said.
The zipline is 5,771 feet in length — that’s over a mile — and will have a total vertical drop of more than 1,000 feet. Think about that. The total drop will be over 1,000 feet. The adventure begins from an elevation of around 2,472 feet, descending to a final elevation of 1,377 feet.
WildSide promises riders will soar through the air at speeds that will leave their “hearts racing and their spirits soaring” by the time the zipline ends.
WildSide already provides expeditions including an array of mountain biking, e-biking, and UTV trails.
