It will be off to the All A Classic state golf tournament for a member of the Todd County Central boys’ golf team. The Rebels’ Noah Rager won a playoff on the second hole to take the second at-large spot for the 4th Region Wednesday afternoon at Metcalfe County.
Rager finished his nine-hole round with a 41 which tied him with Kane Cross, of Cumberland County, for a berth at the state event.
Metcalfe County’s Kruz Tucker had the low round of the day with a 34. Noah Emmitt, also of Metcalfe County, was second with a 37. Metcalfe County won the team competition, so both went on to state as part of the qualifying team.
Khalin Walden, of Cumberland County, was third with a 38 and took the first at-large berth in the state tournament.
Metcalfe County won the team competition with a score of 151. Cumberland County finished second at 166.
The Todd County Central Rebels finished up with a 188. That score put them in fourth place for the day.
