Cavinder’s 5th Place Finish Paces Hoptown at Season Opener (w/PHOTOS)

Tyson Cavinder began his cross country season with a fifth place finish at Saturday’s Christian County season opener.

The Hopkinsville High sophomore covered the 3.1-mile course in 18:24.

Savior Davis came in 21^st place in a personal best time of 20:11, followed by Fernando Ginez Rojas in 129^th place in 31:01.

University Heights Academy’s Cole Glover won the race in 17:20.
