Lady Maroons Settle for Draw at South Warren

Despite a pair of goals by Kailey Barber on Monday at South Warren, Madisonville-North Hopkins settled for a 3-3 draw to leave the Lady Maroons at 3-2-1.

Barber paced the Lady Maroons with a pair of strikes while Madison Hill finished with a goal and two assists to take her team-leading season totals to 14 and eight.

Madisonville was outshot 21-12 by host Lady Spartans, with goalkeeper Kaytee Parish finishing with 15 saves.  Madisonville doubled up South Warren 6-3 in corner kicks.

The Lady Maroons will be back in action on Thursday when they host Apollo before opening 7th-District play against Hopkins County Central on September 3.
