Hayden Hunt’s even-par round of 72 helped the University Heights Academy golf team grab a top-10 finish in a loaded field at the Christian County Invitational on Saturday.
Hunt’s round was good for a fifth-place tie with five other golfers.
Cal Givens shot a 78 to finish in a 34th-place tie.
Courtland Gibson followed with an 81, while Bryson Turner shot an 83 and Jackson Flynn carded a 92.
UHA fielded a second team in the event led by Hugh Sisk’s 97.
As a team, UHA finished in seventh place with a season-best score of 314.
Owensboro’s Jax Malone was the medalist with a 5-under par 72 helping the Red Devils to the team title.
