Jacob Townsend of Lyon County participated in the Kentucky Interscholastic Cycling League race in Elizabethtown over the weekend.
Townsend raced as part of Livingston Composite Mountain Bike Team, finishing 15th at the sixth grade level for his first-ever mountain bike race.
The Throwdown in Etown was Race No. 1 of the Kentucky Interscholastic Cycling League’s Pedal For The Roses Series.
