The Caldwell County Tiger soccer team made the trip to Henderson County on Thursday but suffered an 8-0 setback to the Colonels.
Henderson built a 6-0 lead at halftime, then scored twice early in the second half. The Colonels ended the game on the eight-goal mercy rule in the 46th minute.
Henderson improved to 4-2-2 this season. The Tigers are now 1-5.
Caldwell has never beaten Henderson on the soccer field in seven tries.
The Tigers next play at Hopkinsville on Tuesday.
