After seeing the Union County Bravettes battle their way back into the match, the Hopkins County Central Lady Storm found a way to grab the momentum back Thursday night. The Lady Storm won a tough fifth set 15-13 to close out a five set win on their home floor.

The Lady Storm looked to have things going their way and firmly in hand early on. Hopkins County Central won the first two sets, which were closely contested, 25-22 and 25-23.

Then the momentum of the match took a bit of a turn.

Union County came back to take the next two sets to even things up. The Bravettes rolled 25-9 and 25-14 to pull even at two sets apiece and seemingly had the momentum on their side of the court.

The Lady Storm, however, found the way to stem the tide and close out the win by taking the deciding set 15-13.

The win came just two nights after the Lady Storm had lost their first match of the season in a district battle against Caldwell County.

Hopkins County Central (4-1) goes on the road for just the second time this season to take on Webster County Tuesday night.
