The Fort Campbell Falcons had two of the top three finishers Saturday at the 58th Owensboro Invitational cross-country meet. That effort helped lead the Falcons to a third place team finish.
Jayden Perry finished second and Seth Puraty took third place in the boys’ race. Eli Warford, of McCracken County was the winner with a time of 18:52.25.
The Falcons finished with 63 team points. Henderson County won the team competition with 43 points. Owensboro was second with 52 points.
Other individual finishes for Fort Campbell were:
Daniel Belzer – 11th place
Ryker Kramer – 28th place
Andy Cintron – 31st place
John Tyler Ford – 37th place
Layne Barbee – 38th place
Noah Flick – 39th place
Charlie Philip – 44th place
Drew McIntosh – 52nd place
The Lady Falcons had just three runners compete in the girls’ race. Makayla Finn was the top finisher for Fort Campbell. She ran a time of 23:20.58, finishing in 12th place.
Peyton Reid, of Owensboro Catholic, took 1st place with a time of 19:49.10. Callie Burnett, of Henderson County took 2nd place.
