The Madisonville-North Hopkins defeated Caldwell County 52-14 Friday night in Princeton.
However, the contest was tight throughout the first half – until the Maroons connected on an 80-yard bomb from Kanyon Johnson to Ryder Sandidge on the final play of the half.
That helped the Maroons take a 24-14 lead to the break.
