This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of August 26 is Christian County’s Skylar Kirby. Skylar was selected based on her performance on the volleyball court in Christian County’s big 8th District win over Heritage Christian Academy.

Skylar had a big night for Christian County, finishing with 11 kills. She added 3 service aces to her work for the night. She also had several big plays at the net at key moments during the match.

Her performance helped the Ladt Colonels take a big step forward towards clinching the top seed later on this season in the 8th District volleyball tournament.

The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County (Christian County, Hopkinsville, University Heights, Christian County, and Fort Campbell) based on their performance in a big game or event for their team that week.
