After a draw and five losses to start the season, the Todd County Central girls’ soccer team got in the win column on Tuesday with a 2-0 road victory over 13th-District rivals Russellville.
Ellie Robles doubled her season total with a goal to open the scoring, and Haylee-Grace Chamberlaine found the back of the net for the first time off an assist from Jaidyn Holland.
The Lady Rebels have won the last nine in the series with the Lady Panthers, including two last season decided by penalty kick shootouts and a 2-1 victory in the district tournament.
Todd Central moved to 1-5-1 ahead of a matchup with Muhlenberg County in Elkton on Thursday.
Russellville remained winless at 0-9.
