The latest round of the battle of the military installation high schools on the boys’ soccer pitch goes to the post on the western end of the state. The Fort Campbell Falcons picked up their second straight win by getting past the Fort Knox Eagles Saturday with a 5-1 win.
The win continued the recent dominance by the Falcons in the series. Fort Campbell has now won five straight meetings between the teams. The last Fort Knox win came back in August of 2003.
Fort Campbell improves to 3-3-1 with the win.
The Falcons will go on the road Monday to take on Muhlenberg County.
