
The Todd County Central Lady Rebels recent run through the 4th Region All A Classic girls’ soccer tournament continued Saturday. The Lady Rebels picked up their 3rd straight title and the 7th in 9 years with a 6-0 win over Monroe County Saturday evening in Albany.
A big part of the story was the Todd County Central defensive effort. Jazmine Russell had her first shut out in goal for the Lady Rebels, who won for the second straight time.
Annabelle Scott scored the first goal of the match for the Lady Rebels to get things started.
Jaidyn Holland scored 2 goals, the second goal came off an assist from Scarlett Lancaster. Lancaster also scored a goal of her own off an assist from Shelby Rios.
Haylee-Grace Chamberlaine was one of the five Lady Rebels to find the net. Her score came off an assist by Josira Espinoza. Shelby Rios was the other Todd County Central Lady Rebel to find the net.
The win moves the Lady Rebels to the sectional round of the All A Classic against the champion from the 3rd Region.
The Lady Rebels (2-5-1) will host Logan County Tuesday night in a 13th District contest.
