
Fort Campbell put three runners in the top 20 and finished in third place as a team at Saturday’s Calloway County Invitational in Murray.
The Falcons had a strong pack run in the second group behind the leaders. Seth Puraty was 12th in 18:45 with Jayden Perry one second behind in 13th place. Perry’s time was a personal best.
Ryker Kramer came in 16th place in 18:49 (PR), and Jack Belzer was 21st in 19:06 (PR).
Layne Barbee was Fort Campbell’s fifth runner across in 59th place in 21:36 (PR).
John Tyler Ford was 71st and Noah Flick 72nd – both in 22:12. Flick’s time was a new low time for the junior.
Andy Cintron was 88th in 22:56, and Drew McIntosh was 117th in 26:08 (PR).
University Heights Academy’s Cole Glover won the race in a time of 17:14.
Fort Campbell was third in the team standings with 110 points. Marshall County (72) took first place and Webster County (100) was second.
