
Cole Glover made it two-for-two in the win column to begin the 2024 cross country season on Saturday.
The University Heights Academy senior won the Calloway County Invitational by four seconds over Webster County’s Landon Higdon.
Glover recorded a time of 17:14 over the 3.1-mile course – six seconds faster than his winning time two weeks ago at the Christian County Season Opener.
Jude Finch also had a strong showing for the Blazers, finishing in 14th place with a new personal-best time of 18:47. He knocked nearly two minutes off his time at last week’s Madisonville Classic.
Zech Davis had a 50th-place finish, crossing the finish line in 21:0 and taking over a minute off his previous best at the Christian County Season Opener.
UHA didn’t have the five runners necessary to submit a team score.
