On an evening where the possibility of rain was in the air all through the match, the Union County Bravettes must have felt like it was raining soccer balls on them. The Hopkins County Central Lady Storm found the net quite often on their way to an 18-0 win over Union County on Senior Night in Mortons Gap.
The match ended at halftime due to the 8-goal mercy rule.
Eleven different players scored as the Lady Storm won for the third straight time.
Lilly Armour led the onslaught for Hopkins County Central with three goals.
Ashdyn Dugger, Emma Vandiver, Jaci Childress, Mary Starks, and Riley Richardson scored two goals each.
Kenzie Tucker, Abigail Cavanaugh, Addison Rickard, Avery Adams, and Elissa Adams added a goal each for Hopkins County Central.
The Lady Storm improve to 6-4-1 with the win. They are on the road Monday in a big 7th District contest at Caldwell County.
