Second Half Goal Pulls Maroons into 3-3 Draw With South Warren

Logan Terry’s 2nd half goal pulled Madisonville-North Hopkins even and that is how the match would finish as the Maroons and the South Warren Spartans played to a 3-3 draw Friday night in Madisonville.

After seeing the Spartans take a 1-0 first half lead, the Maroons tied things up at 1-1 when Nash Tapp scored off an assist from Brighton Meir.

Later in the first half, Madisonville-North Hopkins took the lead when Eli Redpath found the net off an assist from Logan Terry to make it 2-1.

South Warren would tie the match up at 2-2 as the teams headed into the break.

The Spartans then got back to the lead with a goal in the second half that put them up 3-2, setting the stage for Logan Terry’s goal. Eli Redpath had the assist on the game-tying score.

With the draw, the Maroons go to 7-5-1 on the season and are set to get back to action Saturday morning when they host the Marshall County Marshals.
