Caldwell County grad Blake Vivrette tied a Kentucky Wesleyan College school record with a 52-yard field goal Saturday night but the Panthers fell to William Jewell 23-16.
Vivrette is a junior at Kentucky Wesleyan. He was 3-for-3 on field goals and made his only extra-point try in the setback.
Vivrette and the 1-1 Panthers will hit the road for the first time this week, traveling to North Canton, Ohio to face Walsh University in the first G-MAC conference game of the season.
