Cayden Cline raced to a top-1o finish on Saturday at the Muhlenberg County Mustang Stampede to lead the Christian County boys to a 7th-place team showing.
Cline’s 17:46.11 placed him 8th, with Apollo’s Emmitt Brock taking 1st place with a time of 16:18.29.
Next for the Colonels was Wyatt Fleming with an 18:56.98 to finish 24th, followed by JT Miles with a 19:45.32 in 46th place.
Joseph Parker was 64th with a time of 20:10.69, followed for the Colonels by Rex Taggert’s 21:07.23. Matthew Reeves ran a 22:02.26, Nolan Long posted a 22:22.12, and Hector Munoz rounded it out for Christian County with a 22:39.79.
Taylor Morris was Christian County’s lone female runner, crossing the line in 22:33.61 to finish 19th. Ohio County’s Morgan Kobylinski won the race with a time of 18:57.70.
