
Heritage Christian Academy sent five runners to the Muhlenberg County Mustang Stampede on Saturday, with Genna Calhoun’s 79th-place finish leading the Warriors to the line.
Calhoun was HCA’s lone female participant in a race won by Ohio County’s Morgan Kobylinski with a time of 18:57.70. Calhoun ran a time of 28:11.12 to finish comfortably inside the top half of the field.
Aaron Hensley ran a 20:42.34 on the boys’ side to finish 80th for the Warriors. Cadyn Travis was next for HCA in 105th with a time of 21:25.25, followed by Josh Farmer with a 23:18.15, and Ryan Goforth with a 26:41.82.
Apollo’s Emmitt Brock won the boys’ race at 16:18.29.
