It was a ‘pretty good’ rebound performance for the University Heights Academy Lady Blazers. Coming off a tough road loss at Henderson County last Thursday, the Lady Blazers went to Ohio County and dominated the home-standing Lady Eagles.

UHA got four goals from Kendall Hancock and three from Audrey Perry as the Lady Blazers rolled to an 8-0 mercy rule win. The game ended at the 72:00 mark.

Audrey Perry got things going for the Lady Blazers with a pair of goals in less than two minutes early in the first half. Just about the time it looked as if the Lady Blazers would make this a quick visit to Ohio County, things slowed down a bit.

The score would still be sitting at 2-0 when the first half came to an end.

Alyssa Grise scored at 59:00 to make it 3-0. A Kendall Hancock goal less than four minutes later extended the lead out to 4-0.

Hancock assisted on an Audrey Perry goal at 64:00 which pushed the lead out to 5-0.

Kendall Hancock then scored three more goals, the last coming at 72:00, ending the match with the Lady Blazers up 8-0.

In addition to their goals, Kendall Hancock and Audrey Perry had one assist each. Ajae Oatts also finished with one assist.

Madison Williams had 2 saves in the shutout win for the Lady Blazers.

UHA (8-2-0) heads back out on the road Wednesday to Fort Campbell for an 8th District contest.
