The Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons dropped their third straight on the volleyball court Monday evening. The Lady Maroons traveled to Dixon and dropped a four-set decision to the Webster County Lady Trojans.
Webster County took the early lead in the match, winning the opening set 25-18.
The Lady Maroons battled back and tied the match at one set each with a 25-22 win in the second set.
Webster County closed out the match winning the third set 25-18 and the fourth set 25-16.
Madisonville was led by Leah Moody, who finished with 11 kills and 20 digs. Keira Williams ended up with 3 kills, 5 aces, 9 digs, and 19 assists. Mackenzie Stoltz had another big night with 9 kills, 13 digs, and two service aces. Morgan Buntin added 6 kills and 2 digs.
The loss drops the Lady Maroons to 3-11 on the season. They are set to be back in action Tuesday on the road at Caldwell County.
