The UHA Blazers just don’t allow the Fort Campbell Falcons to get shots on goal. For the second time this season, the Blazers limited the Falcons to just one shot as the Blazers picked up a 5-0 win on Senior Night at Givens Field.
When the two teams met back on August 22nd in the All A regional championship at Fort Campbell, the Blazers outshot the Falcons 29 to 1 but could only manage one goal for their troubles.
Monday evening, University Heights had 31 shots to just the one for Fort Campbell, but the Blazers were a bit more productive this time around.
It took the Blazers just two minutes to get on the board. Hayden Hunt connected on a header off a corner kick to put UHA up 1-0. Hunt then scored his second goal of the night when he took a pass from Lincoln Hauret right in front of the net and scored it to push the lead out to 2-0.
The score would stay that way until the Blazers finished out the match with a flurry. Jayden Williamson found the net at 66:30 to make it 3-0. Hayden Hunt assisted on a goal from Logan Miller at 73:30 which pushed the margin to 4-0.
Ryan Luckey capped off the night, finding the goal at 77:30 for the final five goal margin.
The Blazers improve to 8-4-0 with the win. The Blazers are scheduled to be on the road Thursday evening at Russellville.
