The Trigg County girls’ soccer team got five goals from senior Hallie Joiner, and Caroline Kosak had an easy night between the posts on Monday to earn the Lady Wildcats’ fourth shutout of the season with an 8-0 victory over Webster County.

Joiner scored three unassisted goals inside the first 13 minutes to put the Lady Wildcats in control.  Addison Humphries made it 4-0 with a goal with just under 24 minutes to play in the first half, and Leiah Hite scored twice inside the last 14 minutes to take her season total to 27.

Thirteen minutes into the second half Joiner found the back of the net twice in less than two minutes to end the game.  Hite added an assist to her two-goal night.

The Lady Wildcats improved to 10-4-1 with their fourth straight victory.  They will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Fort Campbell.  Trigg scored the lion’s share of the goals when the teams combined for 10 back on September 5.
