Anna Allen’s second half goal turned out to be the difference for the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons Tuesday night as they upended the Trigg County Lady Wildcats 2-1 on Senior Night at Fryar Stadium.
The win was the 11th out of the last 13 meetings in the series for the Lady Falcons. It also avenges a 6-4 loss the Lady Falcons suffered at the hands of the Lady Wildcats just 12 days prior at the Trigg County Recreation Complex.
Abby Allen scored a first half goal for the Lady Falcons.
The Trigg County goal was scored by Maggie Wolfe off an assist from Leiah Hite.
Fort Campbell (6-4) hosts University Heights Wednesday night in an 8th District matchup.
Trigg County (10-5-1) will go on the road Thursday to take on Lyon County.
