Jacob Townsend of Lyon County finished 20th in the 6th Grade division at the Kentucky Interscholastic Cycling League’s event at Veterans Park in Lexington on Sunday.
The Fast and The Curious competition was Race 2 of the KICL’s Pedal For The Roses Series.
Townsend rides for the Livingston Composite Mountain Bike Team.
Coming up Oct. 13 will be a home meet at Livingston County Trail System. That will run from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. that day and will include Livingston Composite, Marshall High School and McCracken bike teams along with other teams from across the state.
