Lilly Armour scored twice to take her team-leading total to 21 goals and the Hopkins County Central defense did the rest to give the Lady Storm their sixth win in a row on Thursday against hosts Ohio County.

Armour opened the scoring off an assist from Elissa Adams, and the Lady Storm took a 2-0 lead into halftime after Riley Richardson found the back of the net off a pass from Armour.

Hopkins Central held the Lady Eagles scoreless over the final 40 minutes to record its fourth shutout of the season.  Armour added her second goal of the night to cap the scoring and help the Lady Storm improve to 9-4-1.

Hopkins Central will be back in action on the road on Monday against University Heights Academy.  The Lady Blazers took last season’s meeting 6-0.

Ohio County remained winless in its last eight matches to slip to 2-9-1.
