The Trigg County Lady Wildcats have completed a perfect run through the 5th District for the 2024 soccer regular season. In a tight battle, the Lady Wildcats knocked off Lyon County 3-2 Thursday night at Lee S. Jones Park in Eddyville.

The win is the 4th in the last five matches for Trigg County. The only loss in that stretch was a one goal loss to the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons.

Trigg County will be the top seed in the 5th District tournament and will play the winner of Lyon County and Crittenden County for the district championship.

The Lady Lyons got goals from Anna White and Alice Smith.

Trigg County (11-5-1) is set to be back in action Tuesday against Webster County at the Trigg County Recreation Complex.

Lyon County (6-6-0) will be looking to end a two match losing streak Monday when the Lady Lyons travel to Graves County.
