Logan County golfers took the top two individual spots and the Logan County ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams took 1st and 2nd place at a 3-team golf match Thursday. Golfers from Logan County, Todd County Central, and Russellville were all out on the course getting a chance to get in some last minute competition before next week’s regional tournament.
In individual play, Logan County’s Riley Shepherd took medalist honors, shooting a 35 for his nine-hole round. His teammate Karson Rodgers was second, one shot behind, with a 36. Todd County Central’s Noah Rager was third with a 40.
The Logan County ‘A’ team won the team competition with a 166. The Cougars’ ‘B’ team was second at 172. The Todd County Central Rebels were third with a team score of 193.
