Madisonville-North Hopkins defeated McCracken County 3-2 on Saturday in a battle of teams that met in the first round of the state tournament a year ago.
Aiden Lutz netted the game-winning goal in the 67th minute, getting help from Dom Blanford to stake the Maroons to a 3-1 advantage.
