It’s been an up-and-down season for the Caldwell County volleyball team, but the Lady Tigers are riding high after battling past Hopkins County Central in four sets Thursday night.
The victory put Caldwell in the driver’s seat for the No. 1 seed for the 7th District tournament. With just three teams in the district, the top seed comes with an automatic bid to the championship match and a berth in the 2nd Region tournament.
Junior libero Mycah Riddle has been a big part of Caldwell’s success this season.
YSE caught up with her after the 25-15, 25-12, 27-29, 25-23 win over Hopkins Central.
