A big effort over the weekend from Madisonville-North Hopkins junior runner Dakota Evans. Evans picked up a Top 15 finish in the 2024 Gatorland at Phil Moore Park in Bowling Green.
Evans finished his run with a time of 17:54.3, which put him in 11th place in the boys’ race. He just missed out on the Top 10, finishing less than a second and a half behind Corien Brown, of Hume Fogg Academic Magnet.
Brody Miller, of Barren County, won the boys’ race in a time of 16:54.1. Jayden Brooks, of Columbia Academy, was second, while Ryder Harbaugh, of Butler County, finished third.
