This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of September 16 is Heritage Christian Academy’s Mya Goodwin. Mya was selected based on her performance in the Lady Warriors’ big 8th District volleyball win over the defending district champion University Heights Academy Lady Blazers.
Mya had an outstanding night on the court and helped lead Heritage Christian to a 3-1 win over UHA. For the night, she finished with 15 kills in leading the Lady Warriors’s attack at the net.
She was a big part of the HCA success at the service line, ending the night with 7 service aces. She also stood out in keeping points alive, finishing with 19 digs.
The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County (Christian County, Hopkinsville, University Heights, Christian County, and Fort Campbell) based on their performance in a big game or event for their team that week.
