With the volleyball season preparing to enter the home stretch, it appears the Union County Bravettes are finding their stride at just the right time. Union County won for the 5th time in the last six matches Tuesday evening as the Bravettes picked up the three-set home court win over the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers.
The loss for the Lady Tigers was the 6th straight since they knocked off Madisonville-North Hopkins back on September 19th.
Union County cruised through the opening set 25-9 and then extended their lead to two sets to none by winning the second set 25-18.
The Lady Tigers pushed the Bravettes in the third set, but Union County was still able to close out the match with a 25-14 win.
For Hopkinsville, Madysen Taggart had three kills, three digs, one block, and one service ace. Alayna King added four assists and three digs.
The Lady Tigers (2-14) go on the road Thursday night to take on Kirkwood.
