The Todd County Central Lady Rebels will head off to Metcalfe County this weekend riding a three-match winning streak. The Lady Rebels extended their streak Tuesday evening with a straight-set win over the Russellville Lady Panthers.
The Lady Rebels were never seriously threatened by the Lady Panthers in this one.
Todd County Central won the opening set 25-5. The Lady Rebels then moved out to a two set to none lead by rolling through the second set 25-8.
Todd Central closed out the sweep by winning the third set 25-7.
The Lady Rebels improve to 12-10 with the win. They head off this weekend to the Metcalfe County ‘Fest at the Nest.’ Pool play for the Lady Rebels will have them taking on Somerset, Metcalfe County, and North Hardin.
