The Todd County Central girls’ soccer team put a three-game losing streak behind it and bounced back from a quarterfinal loss at the All “A” State Tournament with an 8-1 victory over visiting Russellville on Tuesday.

The Lady Rebels’ second win over the Lady Panthers helped them improve to 3-8-1, 2-4 in 13th District play.

Russellville remained winless at 0-15 with four of its five goals this season coming in the last three games.

Jaidyn Holland provided the offensive spark with four goals to double her season total, and Scarlett Lancaster added two goals and a pair of assists.

Annabelle Scott found the back of the net and set up a goal, and Shelby Rios-Velasco scored and provided two assists.  Ashley Espinoza and Ellie Robles also notched assists for the Lady Rebels.

Haylee Chamberlaine had an easy night between the posts with a single save.

Up next for the Lady Rebels is a trip to Barren County on Thursday.  Todd Central has never lost to the Trojanettes, with the last meeting coming in 2015.
