Hopkinsville High School’s Cate Blane has finished in the top 10 at the region golf meet for a fifth straight season.
Blane came in sixth place on Wednesday, carding an 80 at the immaculate Pearl Club just outside of Owensboro.
She shot a 41 on the front nine and a 39 on the back to finish three shots behind the winner, Adelynn Moorman of Breckinridge County.
Blane finished in third place in the region as both a freshman and junior. She will advance to the KHSAA State First Round on Tuesday at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club.
