
Caldwell County junior Kylee White reached a milestone Saturday morning as the Lady Tigers captured a 3-1 victory at Christian Fellowship School.
White recorded her 1,000th career assist in Caldwell’s 25-19, 20-25, 25-19, 25-10 triumph in a match that was a late addition to the schedule.
White needed just one assist on Saturday to become the sixth Lady Tiger in program history to reach 1,000. She finished with 49, and also had three kills, 11 digs and an ace as Caldwell (12-6) won for the fifth-straight outing.
Brylee Butts had 19 kills, three blocks and three digs while Rylee Thompson had 12 kills, a block, 10 digs and two aces. Benashka Thomas had 10 kills, two blocks and three digs.
Chevy McGowan added four kills and a dig while Medeline Thomas had two kills, a block and two digs.
Morgan Aikins had a kill, nine digs and an ace. Grace Watson had a kill and two digs.
Mycah Riddle had 18 digs while Anna Giltz had 11 digs. Madison Cooper had seven digs and four aces.
Christian Fellowship fell to 9-14 with the setback.
Caldwell has won its last two matches against the Lady Eagles and leads CFS 12-9 in the all-time series.
The Lady Tigers will next head to Hopkinsville on Tuesday to play Heritage Christian Academy.
