Wade Foster picked the right time to shoot a career-low score.
The Hopkinsville High School senior shot an even-par 72 at the Region 2 Tournament in Owensboro to finish in third place and qualify for the state first round.
Foster had back-to-back birdies on holes three and four and 11 and 12 as he shot even par on both sides of the course.
In this YSE interview, Foster talked about his round that took two days to complete because of the weather. He will tee off at 9:03 on Wednesday morning at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club.
