Caldwell County took control of Friday night’s game at Christian County with a 24-point explosion over the final 5:14 of the first half.
A 4-yard touchdown pass from Daelyn Lander to Gus Fox was followed by a 10-yard scoring run by Kam Spikes.
Luke Maddox scored on a 24-yard run, then the Tigers got a 43-yard field goal from Sutton Ritchey on the final play of the first half.
That put Caldwell up 24-6 at the break, and the Tigers went on to win 37-6.
