A night after they pulled off an upset win over one 2nd Region volleyball contender, the University Heights Academy Lady Blazers were back out on the road to face another team with regional title aspirations and the team that won this year’s All A Classic 2nd Region title.
There would be no upset for the second straight night as Crittenden County took a straight-set win over the Lady Blazers in Marion.
The first set of the match was a tight battle with Crittenden County finally taking the set 25-23 to go up one set to none.
The Lady Rockets then got rolling, taking the second set 25-15 and closing out the match with a 25-12 win in the third set to finish out the sweep.
Another big night for senior Olivia Oakley. Oakley racked up 14 kills, 5 digs, and 3 service aces.
8th grader Gretchen Durham continues to make big progress as the one setting the table for her teammates. She finished the night with 19 assists.
The Lady Blazers (7-16) will get back on the court Thursday when they travel to post to take on the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons.
