With 1:44 left in regulation and the 7th District championship match tied 2-2, Madisonville-North Hopkins was awarded a free kick just outside the box.
Kailey Barber hammered home the shot into the corner of the net to give the Lady Maroons their first lead of the night, and Madisonville went on to beat Hopkins County Central 3-2 for the district title.
The game-winning goal earned Barber this Max’s Moment.
