Lady Blazers Fall to Graves County in Four Sets

A tough road loss for the UHA Lady Blazers Tuesday night to kick off the final week of the volleyball regular season. UHA made the trip to Mayfield and dropped a 3 to 1 decision to the Graves County Lady Eagles.

Graves County took the opening set 25-19 to get the early one set to none lead in the match.

The Lady Blazers fought back in the second set and took a 25-18 win to even the match up at a set apiece.

The next two sets were battles to the end, but it would be the Lady Eagles coming out on top. Graves took the third set 25-20 and then closed out the match by winning the fourth set 25-21 to take the match three sets to one.

Another big night for senior Olivia Oakley, who finished with 15 kills. She also had 10 digs. Kiley Lambert added four for the Lady Blazers.

Gretchen Durham had an outstanding night setting the table for UHA. She finished the night with 27 assists.

The Lady Blazers (8-17) are back in action Thursday night when they travel to take on Madisonville-North Hopkins. They will then close out the regular season Saturday with a pair of matches at Apollo.
