The Heritage Christian Academy Lady Warriors continue to look like one of the teams that can contend for the 2nd Region volleyball championship. The Lady Warriors won their 5th straight match, all by sweep, Tuesday night as they went on the road and defeated Livingston Central three sets to none.
This match was all Lady Warriors from the beginning. HCA came out at full throttle and took the opening set 25-12 to go up one set to none.
Not much changed for the rest of the night. Heritage won the second set 25-14 and then closed out the match by winning the third set 25 to 11.
A stellar night for Katie Cansler, who finished with 14 kills and 2 service aces. Mya Goodwin added 7 kills and 4 aces.
Makenzie McCarty and Hadlee Hayes again did the job of setting things up. McCarty ended up with 14 assists while Hayes added 9. Hayes also added four service aces to her stat line.
Heritage Christian improves to 18-5 for the season and will wrap up the regular season Thursday night at Christian Fellowship.
