HCA Ups Winning Streak to Six in Regular Season Finale

The Heritage Christian Academy Lady Warriors are officially on a roll as the volleyball regular season comes to an end. The Lady Warriors won their 6th straight match Thursday night, all by sweep, as they went on the road and rolled past Christian Fellowship.

HCA came out ready to go as the Lady Warriors took a 25-19 win in the opening set to take a one set to none lead.

The second set was a carbon copy of the first, as HCA again won 25-19 to make it two sets to none.

The Lady Warriors then closed it out by winning the third set 25-17 to take the match three sets to none.

Mya Goodwin and Katie Cansler both had big nights on the attack. Goodwin finished with 13 kills while Cansler finished with 10.

Makenzie McCarty had one of her best nights of the season, finishing with 24 assists. Hadlee Hayes added eight more.

Heritage Christian ends the regular season at 19-5. The Lady Warriors open postseason play in the 8th District semifinals Tuesday night against University Heights.
