Tyson Cavinder paced the Hopkinsville cross country runners at Saturday’s Graves Eagle Classic with a sixth-place finish.
The Tiger sophomore covered the 3.1-mile course in 17:07, eclipsing his previous best time by 21 seconds.
Savior Davis came in 16th place in 18:03 and Fernando Ginez Rojas was 118th in 23:05.
Hopkinsville will compete in the Class 2A Region 1 Meet next Saturday at Marshall County High School.
